All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. (John 6:37 NIV)
Pausing on this verse for perhaps the first time, I recognize two powerful messages in Jesus' words: I was a gift to him by God the Father, and because I accept him, he will not drive me away.
Today, I will be grateful for this promise of Jesus.
