Paul again! This time he is writing to his friends in Rome, telling them that absolutely nothing on earth can come between God and anyone who believes. That's kind of a big deal especially when you read the other eight sentences around this one--Paul has a ridiculous list of things that could realistically come between God and us, but towards the end he wraps it up saying firmly that nothing at all can "separate us from the love of God."
Today, I'm going to just enjoy being so connected to the creator of all things, and dwell on the knowledge that he personally wants to be close to me. :-)
