Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. -Psalm 119: verse 111
King David sings Hallelujah (well sort of) because his heart is overflowing with joy! And for what? He rejoices because he, as the king of Israel, realizes that he and his people inherited God's book of life, his laws, our Bible.
Today, like David, I will try to recognize what a practical gift for daily living the Bible is; and to let joy fill me like a child at Christmas because of it!
