Again, King David asks God for a favor! He asks for continued love and protection for his people. What I love most about this is that he isn't asking for himself! He is asking on behalf of others--such a beautiful and simple prayer, one that shows me so much about how I should pray. Maybe I need to put myself aside when I ask God for favors, and ask for them on behalf of my people.
Today, I will pray for a special intention, for a friend who is upright and knows God, and who will need God's favor and love in the days ahead.
